这次的新山老街一日游不是自助的
是看到UTM的辩论社团举办
我就跟朋友一起参加的
其实本人还蛮意外的
因为完全不知新山有老街
好啦是我太没见识~我知道
个人对这次的行程很满意哈哈
我直接跳过一开始的破冰游戏进入主题！

首先我必须要说
新山老街跟马六甲老街的感觉差不多
不一样的是新山老街的年代感不是那么重
但还是很有Fu
The first thing i want to mention is
JB old street makes me felt same as Malacca old street
Although JB old street is still "young"
but it still made me felt good

非常尽责
文物和历史都解释的很清楚
他是导览员哦不是导游
他很在意这个~哈哈

一开始我们先去博物馆
这次去的是新山华族历史文物馆
我觉得还蛮特别的
这间博物馆有3层楼
底层没什么的
1楼就有很多关于华族籍贯的历史文物
2楼是关于胡椒和甘密
特别的是说2楼的文物
每年都会不一样（如果没记错的话）
所以每年都可以去看看哈哈哈

一楼其实空间有限
我记得当时去的人数
差不多是25人左右
就把那里挤得水泄不通了
2楼就还好，空间比较大

居住在新山的华人
有一部分是靠种植胡椒和甘密
白手起家的
所以胡椒和甘密对新山的发展
扮演非常重要的角色

不过那时她已经离开了
After we left the museum, we passed by a restaurant

Someone told me Hannah (wife of Jay Chou)
was shooting at there
这里是卖寝具的
如果我没记错的话
他们的寝具都是手工制作
而且对身体好，为什么好我就忘了
哈哈哈哈
不过我记得他枕头的触感
很特别，很舒服
我好喜欢
They are selling handmade pillow and mattres
They said is good for our body and health
I really like the tactile impression of the pillow
So amazing!!!!
天气很热，去喝凉茶

不过真心觉得他的凉茶
很合我的口味

I drunk a cup of warm traditional herbal tea

前往下一个目的地的途中
经过这间锡克庙
当时他们似乎是在拜拜
我们不方便进去参观
不过他们似乎有提供
免费午餐（好像是素食）
Before we reached ours next destination
We passed by a Sikh temple
They were praying
so we cannot enter
But they actually provide free vegan lunch
for public
You may enjoy a free Sikh style vegan lunch~
我们到达了兴都庙
这是我人生第一次进兴都庙
真是让我大开眼界！
导览员有解释
那里供奉的神像
兴都教的历史
里面供奉很多神
最让我印象深刻的是
一位嘴里咬着脐带的女神
第一眼看的时候感觉有点....呃....
但是根据导览员的说法
这位女神是一位兼具智慧与勇气的女神
After that we arrived Hindu temple (is that naming Hindu temple?)
This is my very first time visit Hindu temple
It really gave me a new horizon!
Guide had explain the history and mythology of Hindu
I am impressed with an image of a female god of Hindu
She is biting a umbilical cord
Her mouth is bloody....
My first impression is like.....erh.....oh....
According to guide,
She is wise and courageous
YA.....
Don't you think this is totally different with other religion?
I am a Buddhist
Every image of god of Buddha
always look perfect.....
Such a huge different...
我觉得印度的神比较像人
他们会人类的情感
不像佛教的神
感觉就比较无私，平静（？）
另外我觉得进兴都庙还蛮特别的一点是
一群异族人进去，兴都教教徒
不止不觉得奇怪
还有一位印度人
走过来
跟我们解释一些印度神话故事
wow...
可以感觉得出他们是很欢迎
其他种族的人去了解他们的文化
I felt like god of Hindu are more looks like human
They have human feeling
They will angry, happy and they will show their feeling~
One more thing that i think it was special is
The followers of Hindu are totally welcoming us
even though, there was a Indian man
came to us
and explain the mythology for us
They are so friendly...

逛完古庙我们就去吃午餐了
吃了午餐就回啦！
我当时是去锦华茶餐食
那里出名的是他的
烤面包，咖啡，生熟蛋
Lunch Time!!!!
I choose restaurant Kin Hua (one of the famous kopitiam)
Kin Hua's most popular meals or food?
is toast, half boiled egg and coffee
但是我是叫咖喱面来吃
我觉得....普通呵呵
我们还有叫紫菜薄饼
他的薄饼里面放了一种
炸的脆脆的东西
可能是拿面粉掺水然后拿去炸
呃....我在我的家乡也有吃过
所以并没有觉得有多特别
但是还是蛮好吃的啦~
But i order curry mee hahaha
In my habit i only eat toast and half boiled egg for breakfast
For the curry mee, erm....
i think just normal....still good but
if i visit there again i will rather try other food
We also order a seaweed popiah(?) or vege wrap?
There is something crispy inside
I have no idea what was that
I had taste it before at my hometown
so for me, just so so
if you never try it before

is locate near to restaurant Kin Hua
Their banana cake is very famous
and it taste actually good
If compare with the other banana cake
i think Hiap Joo banana cake is better
You should have a try~
最让我满意的是
锦华茶餐室对面的那间店
“慷美峰-炭火烧腊鸡饭小厨”
我买了那里的特色小吃
There is a chicken rice shop
Kang Bee Hong
i RECOMMEND you try their special snack!
叉烧猪仔包
奶油猪仔包（？）
还有一个跟叉烧猪仔包很像
但是是升级版
这3个都太好吃了！

我觉得这次的一日游
最满意的地点是兴都庙
最满意的食物是叉烧猪仔包
我想跟所有的新山人说
拜托，如果有人问你
新山有哪里值得去？
请不要一直说新山只有shopping mall
新山老街真的很不错的
比去shopping mall有意义的多。
我不是新山人我都愿意推广新山老街
也希望作为新山人的你
可以更努力的介绍新山珍贵的另一面
Lastly, i would like to make a conclusion
my favorite feature spot was Hindu Temple
my favorite meal would be upgraded version of roast char siew bugger
I would like to tell every JBrean
Please, if people ask you about the
tourist attractions in JB
Stop telling them JB only has shopping mall
JB old street is quite nice
and it is more interesting compare to shopping mall.
I am not a JBrean but i am willing to introduce JB old street
I hope you as a JBrean
can pay more effort to introduce the precious side of the JB.
